Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins, also known as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins within the United States and Mexico, is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She is an ESPN anchor on news, and she hosts SportsNation often. Her first job for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of the television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual from her age of nine. Her skill was instrumental in helping her land her first position as production assistant for Univision Miami in which she assisted the production of numerous shows, including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. She was hired as an reporter at the CBS St. Petersburg affiliate following that. In 2009, the reporter moved from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley Texas where she was employed by KNVO TV 48 Univision as and Fox2 News. In reporting on news stories about the trafficking of drugs and immigration on both sides the Texas-Mexico border, she was a news reporter on the Spanish channel KNVO TV48 at 5 pm, an anchor for the news channel with a news anchor in English for 9 pm, the news anchor was on until 10pm, before returning to the Spanish channel. Also, she was often asked to serve as an anchor for sports and weather. She then anchored and reported at Univision's Dallas affiliate Deportes 23 where she was assigned more responsibility. She also wrote articles on The NBA, Dallas Cowboys' postseason, NBA ALDS ALCS World Series or Finals FC Dallas. Additionally, she was the producer of the local Univision 23 sports program Accion Deportiva Extra on which she also served as anchor. She also served as anchor for the sports segment of Despierta America Deportes morning show. The same role she also worked for Primer Impacto (a network magazine) as well as Contacto Deportivo (a UniMas Network sports program). Antonietta's parents hail from Veracruz Mexico. Then, they moved to Mexico City and she was born on the 22nd of November in 1985. There is an older sister. There is an older sibling. In 1992, her parents divorced soon after. In 1995, she remarried Fabio Fajardo who was an engineer in the naval sector who passed away in 2006 from kidney cancer. Her residence was with her family in Canton Ohio with her older sister during the summer in which she was given a job. Still a senior in high school and yet having a clear vision of what she wanted to do in her future, Antonietta went to at the University of Mount Union to determine if the school was suitable for her needs. She discovered that she enjoyed the university and that the school offered the major she wanted. Her studies were completed and she was admitted to the university as a major studying media and communication studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor as well as the director of WRMU, of which she's a member. They had a very close friendship. Professor Bergmann encouraged her to be confident and was greatly moved by his passion for journalism.
